Infant Jesus Hr. Sec. School caters to the intellectual, moral, physical and cultural formation of the students irrespective of caste, creed, colour, sex and status.

As the motto is “LIFE, LIGHT AND SERVICE “students are initiated to help educate and serve others.

Pupils are expected to show kindness, courtesy and absolute sincerity in their words and deeds.

Academic session of the school will be from April to March.

The medium of instruction and expression is English.

Any damage to the school property including ink stains and writing on the walls must be compensated for at the expense of the offender.

Irregular attendance habitual idleness, disobedience or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of the pupil.

No student will be granted leave without prior written application of the parents/guardians. In all cases permission will be granted at the discretion of the Principal. Those who absent themselves for six consecutive days without permission from the Principal, are liable to have their name struck off the rolls and are there by to pay the entrance fee along with the fine for re-admission. They shall have their name re-entered on the rolls only after a fortnight if they prove themselves to be regular again.

The school prepares the students for the matriculation examination of J & K State Board of Secondary Examination.

Prescribed courses of the J & K Board of Secondary Education are followed.

No student shall be allowed to go out or to be taken out of the school compound without obtaining the permission from the Principal. Permission will not be granted unless the principal is satisfied about the genuine of the matter and accompanying person.

All money matters should be dealt with the office.

All the pupils must have the text books and stationary prescribed for their respective classes before the school reopens. No child will be allowed to sit in the class without text books and stationary.

No pupil will be allowed to go out of the class to buy books. All the transactions should be done either before or after school hours or during the recess. The same applicable with regards to fees.

No student shall be admitted to the school without the discharge certificate from the school last attended and duly countersigned by the concerned Education Officer.

Parents/Guardians/Friends and relatives are not allowed to walk into the class rooms or meet any teacher during the school hours. They should contact them only through the office. In all matters the decision of the Principal will be final.

No students will be given discharge certificate until all dues to the school are cleared.

Rs. 100/- will be charged for the T.C. issued from the school.

Student contracting contagious diseases should stay away from the school and at once inform the Principal.

Parents should see that their child comes to the school after their daily needs and having their breakfast.

All the students must have their snacks every day to eat during recess.

Please see that your ward is well groomed and in proper school uniform, and reaches the school before the first bell.

Students contravening the above mentioned rules will be fined.

Habitual defaulters shall be dismissed from the school.

Co-curricular activities like sports, games, cultural activities etc. will be conducted on Saturdays.
